1. Overview

At Tradershshopao, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return Policy outlines your rights regarding returns and refunds in accordance with Norwegian consumer protection laws and EU regulations, including the Consumer Rights Directive.

2. Right of Withdrawal

2.1 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquires physical possession of the goods. In Norway, this right is implemented through the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven).

2.2 How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement. You can do this by:

You may use the following model withdrawal statement, but it is not obligatory:

"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: [product name/order number], ordered on [date], received on [date]. Consumer name and address. Date and signature (only if submitted on paper)."

2.3 Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

3. Return Conditions

3.1 Eligible Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Within the 14-day withdrawal period
  • In its original, unopened packaging
  • Unused and in the same condition as when received
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

3.2 Non-Returnable Items

For health and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned once opened:

  • Dietary supplements with broken seals
  • Products that have been opened or used
  • Products with tampered packaging

This restriction is in accordance with Article 16(e) of the Consumer Rights Directive, which allows exceptions for sealed goods not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons which have been unsealed after delivery.

4. Return Process

4.1 Step-by-Step Return Instructions

  1. Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to initiate a return
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Receive return authorization and shipping instructions
  4. Package the item securely in its original packaging
  5. Ship the item to the address provided
  6. Retain your shipping receipt as proof of return

4.2 Return Shipping

You shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

5. Refunds

5.1 Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days using the same payment method you used for the original purchase.

5.2 Refund Timeline

  • Inspection: 2-3 business days after receiving returned item
  • Refund processing: Within 14 days of return approval
  • Bank processing: Additional 5-10 business days depending on your bank

5.3 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in the following situations:

  • Items returned more than 14 days after delivery
  • Items not in original condition or missing components
  • Items with signs of use or damage not caused by shipping

6. Damaged or Defective Products

6.1 Reporting Damage

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of delivery) with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item and packaging
  • Description of the damage or defect

6.2 Resolution Options

For damaged or defective products, we will offer:

  • A replacement product sent at no additional cost
  • A full refund including original and return shipping costs

7. Incorrect Orders

If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours. We will arrange for the return of the incorrect item at our expense and send the correct item promptly.

8. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product, please initiate a return for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.

9. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe:

  • Check your bank account again
  • Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times may vary
  • Contact us if you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund

10. Consumer Rights

This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights under Norwegian consumer protection laws and EU regulations. If you are a consumer in the EU, you are entitled to the protections under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and your national consumer protection laws.

11. Disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Nothing in this policy affects your right to seek assistance from the relevant consumer authorities or to bring a claim before the competent courts.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. The policy applicable to your purchase is the one in effect at the time of your order.
